Great classic 25–30 min away: hiking, canoe/kayak, SUP, beaches (La Crémaillère), wildlife observation and in winter Nordic skiing/snowshoes. The Via ferrata du Diable on Vache-Noire is guided and memorable.
Major climbing site + trails, lake access & varied sectors.
Montagne d'Argent Climbing & Hiking Park
~25 min away: numerous climbing routes (rock, ice in season), sport hiking, Lac Boisseau and superb views. Guiding available via AGMA. Bivouacs and rustic camping on site.
~30 min away: 1,500-acre reserve, 37+ km of trails (summer), 32+ km of cross-country skiing (winter), snowshoes, fatbike, astronomy center, Diable River beaches nearby.
Calm waters, sandy beaches, shuttles — perfect for families.
Rouge River — gentle & wild
10–25 min away: self-guided canoe/kayak/SUP descents (calm sections), beaches and picnics. Further south, whitewater sections for rafting (recognized operators).
